“Death of a Bachelor”為Panic! at the Disco的第五張錄音室專輯，音樂性質為搖滾龐克的他們，比起上一張專輯”Too weird To live, Too Rare To Die!”，新專輯的音樂性更為完整也更加成熟。
不僅在混音方面進步許多，主唱Brendon Urie的唱功在這張上更加突出爆裂，唱片製作人請來Fall Out Boy長期合作的Jake Sinclair擔任共同製作人，因而讓兩團的氣氛感覺更相似，但由於FOB主唱Patrick Stump的聲線顆粒感較重，在後製混音需要更多層次相襯而使得他們讓人容易辨認。
在單曲”Death of A Bachelor”中，曲風卻跳脫原本搖滾風味，多加了英式流行樂元素，帶有時代感的編曲使得這首單曲相當突出，主唱的嗓音也在其中少了背景墊高，變得更為純粹。
